Peso Pluma, Myke Towers & More To Perform at 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards
The first round of performers has been announced for the 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards. Today (Sep. 5), it was revealed that Peso Pluma, Eladio Carrión, El Alfa, Myke Towers, Manuel Turizo, and many more will be hitting the stage.
Peso Pluma will be performing for the first time at the 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards. The Mexican superstar is the most-nominated artist of the year, up for 21 awards, including Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and Album of the Year for Génesis. Alongside Eslabon Armado, Peso is also nominated for Hot Latin Song of the Year for their collaboration “Ella Baila Sola.”
Other regional Mexican music acts that will be performing include Calibre 50 and Chiquis. Los Ángeles Azules, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, will be putting on a special performance as well.
Ahead of his upcoming U.S. tour, El Alfa will bring Dominican dembow to the Billboard Latin Music Awards stage. On the heels of his global hit “Lala,” Towers will also be performing. Carrión will also be putting on a live performance. Other reggaeton acts scheduled to perform include Yandel, Turizo, and Justin Quiles.
Argentine singer Tini will represent Latine pop music with her performance. This will be a precursor to her U.S. tour, which kicks off next month. After collaborating with multiple Latine acts, DJ Marshmello is a confirmed performer as well. He has previously released songs with Tokischa, Turizo, Farruko, and Young Miko.
Following Peso Pluma, Bad Bunny, Grupo Frontera, Karol G, and Shakira also received the most nominations this year. The Billboard Latin Music Awards will air live on Telemundo on Thursday, Oct. 5. The ceremony will also be streamed on Universo, Peacock, and Telemundo App.
