Could three Latina pop queens be teaming up for something epic? Today (July 25), Christina Aguilera seemingly hinted at a collaboration with Selena Gomez and Karol G.

Gomez threw a stellar party for her 31st birthday on July 22. Among the celebrity guests at the event were Aguilera and Karol G. Over on Xtina’s Instagram account, she posted pictures of herself with Gomez and Karol G. “Love these girls,” she wrote in the caption with a heart emoji.

Since the collision of these stars at Gomez’s birthday party, Karol G and Aguilera’s fans are hoping the encounter can lead to them all working on music together. One person asked Xtina, “collab is coming???” She responded to the tweet with plenty of eye-popping emojis.

Aguilera’s tweet that may be hinting at a collaboration with Gomez and Karol G is driving their fan bases wild. There’s hope she can do a Latina version of “Lady Marmalade” with the two women. “THE COLLAB OF THE YEAR IS COMING,” wrote one person on Twitter. “selena gomez x karol g x christina aguilera = lady marmalade latina,” wrote another person.  “we want a reggaeton right nowwwww with selena & karol g! please xtina,” added another fan. 

Both Aguilera and Gomez’s recent music eras have seen them embrace their Latina roots. In 2021, Gomez released her debut Spanish-language EP Revelación. She was nominated for Best Latin Pop Album at the 2022 Grammy Awards. Last year, Xtina released her second Latine album, Aguilera. She was also nominated for Best Latin Pop Album earlier this year. Karol G is on top of the world with her album Mañana Será Bonito. She became the first woman to debut at the top of the Billboard 200 chart with a completely Spanish-language LP.
