‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ Announces Live Concert Tour — Here Are the Dates
Miles Morales fans will get a chance to immerse themselves into the 2018 Oscar-winning animated feature Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse when a live orchestra swings into theaters in their city from August to November 2023.
The 48-city tour begins on August 26 in Columbus, Georgia, and ends on November 18 in Bellingham, Washington. Some of the major cities included on the tour include Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Seattle.
Oscar-nominated composer Daniel Pemberton (The Trial of the Chicago 7) wrote the score for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. He also wrote the scores for this year’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and next year’s Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
“I’m not the world’s biggest fan of generic superhero music,” Pemberton told Composer magazine in 2018. “So, it was about trying to find a way of giving a nod to that type of music but also trying to give it a different spin.”
Besides the groundbreaking animation in the first film, Pemberton’s music gives Into the Spider-verse its own unique style. It’s no wonder fans listen to the soundtrack all the time.
When the tour stop list appeared online, some fans wondered where their city was on the list. It does say, “More dates and cities to be announced soon,” so make sure your Spidey senses are working, so you know when the list has expanded.
Even if the concert isn’t coming to your city, some fans are open to traveling to experience the live show.
Latine fans south of the border were hoping the concert series would go international.
Now, all we need is a Spider-Punk tour and we’re set for life.
