Reggaeton Beach Festival Cancels 2026 Tour Amid Operational Challenges

The eighth edition of the Reggaeton Beach Festival (RBF) has been officially canceled. Organizers announced the decision on Thursday (June 18), citing a combination of economic and operational challenges that have rendered the continuation of the project unfeasible. The cancellation impacts all seven events previously scheduled for this summer in Spain, including the highly anticipated kickoff in Barcelona, which was slated for June 27-28.

The festival, which had promised a star-studded lineup featuring prominent artists such as Myke Towers, Omar Courtz, and Anuel AA, released an official statement via social media. In the message, the management team explained that after a thorough review of the project’s global status, they concluded that the company’s current financial and operational structure could no longer support an event of this magnitude with the necessary guarantees.

“We are fully aware of the disappointment, concern and inconvenience that this announcement causes to everyone who has placed their trust in RBF for this edition,” the statement read. “We know that behind every festival there are tickets, trips, excitement, plans and expectations. For this reason, we deeply regret that the 2026 tour cannot take place.”

The organizers further noted that the new management had identified specific “economic, financial and operational circumstances” that significantly compromised the viability of the tour. Consequently, the company stated it is not in a position to maintain the operational activity required to execute the scheduled events.

At the time of this publication, no specific details have been provided regarding the refund process for ticket holders. Billboard Español has reached out to the organizers for further clarification on how attendees can recover the costs of their passes and travel arrangements, but a response has not yet been received.

The message concluded with a note of gratitude, thanking the fans and partners who have supported the festival throughout its history. For now, the future of the brand remains uncertain as the organization navigates these significant structural hurdles.
