Becky G and Peso Pluma Join Forces in “Chanel” Music Video (Watch)

The highly-anticipated music video has arrived! On April 6, Becky G unveiled the visuals for “Chanel,” her exciting collaboration with emerging Mexican singer and rapper Peso Pluma.

“‘CHANEL’ VIDEO CON @pesopluma YA ESTÁ DISPONIBLE!!! ?,” the Mexican-American songstress wrote in an Instagram post. “Thank you for all of the love on the song so far! WE LOVE YOUUUU ??✨.” Directed by Ricky Alvarez, the music video showcases the two stars singing their heartbreak verses in a minimalistic outdoor setting. The golden hour-toned visuals feature Becky on a classic ape-hanger bicycle, donning a cropped Raiders sports jersey and her signature hoop earrings. In one scene, she’s holding and petting a rooster; in another, she’s riding a white horse.

Meanwhile, Peso croons about losing a lover on a rooftop, sporting dark sunglasses. He’s also seen singing in front of and on the bed of a classic beige truck. Towards the video’s end, the two popular artists playfully dance in sync with the corrido tumbado’s beat on a rooftop. Social media users across both artists’ platforms are enjoying the thrilling collaboration. A YouTube user, yagirl, commented: “My Becky always innovating and making new music no matter the genre❤.” An Instagram user, noreth15, added: “She is a complete artist … love the different style.”

Currently, Becky G is preparing for her Coachella shows on April 14 and 21 while working on her upcoming regional Mexican album. Fans speculate that Peso Pluma could make a special guest appearance during her performance. Although there’s no official confirmation, the emerging rapper mentioned in an interview, “We are doing something with Becky G. We were invited to a very special event that we hope to go to in April.” Peso will also play his first-ever U.S. show this weekend (April 8) in Ontario, CA.
