Marshmello and Farruko Unite in “Esta Vida”
Grammy-nominated artist and producer Marshmello has brought a fresh new single titled “Esta Vida,” a collaboration with Puerto Rican singer and rapper Farruko, which translates to “This Life.” To the delight of their fans, the mega music luminaries surprised everyone with a debut performance of the song during Marshmello’s headline set at Ultra Music Festival on the main stage (March 26), where they played in front of an ecstatic crowd of over 50,000 fans! The official music video for “Esta Vida,” directed by Justice Silvera, showcases the duality of Farruko living two lives: one as a homeless man and the other as a celebrity surrounded by fame and fortune, before his descent. The video, starring both Marshmello and Farruko, narrates a powerful story of success and failure.
“Esta Vida” follows the success of Marshmello’s latest hit collaboration with Manuel Turizo, “El Merengue,” which has already garnered over 87.5 million combined streams in its first month. The track has secured prominent positions on Spotify’s Global Top 50 (#43) and Apple Music’s Latin Top 50.
