Mariah Carey Announces New Las Vegas Residency

Calling all Lambs: Mariah Carey announced her new headlining residency! The Celebration of Mimi will take place from April 12 to 27 at the Dolby Live in Park MGM in Las Vegas, NV.

“Vegas, I’m coming back to town with a new show!! 🎉🦋 ‘The Celebration of Mimi’ Live in Las Vegas, this April 12-27 at Dolby Live at Park MGM!” the iconic vocalist wrote online. “Get your tickets Saturday at 10am PT @ ticketmaster.com/MariahVegas 🎉🦋🎙️❤️.”

This marks the “Always Be My Baby” singer’s third residency in the Vegas strip. The current dates are April 12 to 13, 17, 19 to 20, 24, and 26 to 27. The new residency follows #1 to Infinity (2015-2017) and The Butterfly Returns (2018-2020), both performed at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The Celebration of Mimi comes in time for her album The Emancipation of Mimi’s 19th anniversary. More recently, MC has performed holiday tours and at selected festivals.

The celebration’s set list will include a variety of her popular hits. In a statement to Billboard, the team shared that “the Las Vegas shows will feature fan favorites from that album as well as other hits from her unparalleled illustrious career.” With that in mind, we can envision her singing hits like “We Belong Together” and “Shake It Off,” both from the same album released in April 2005.

Fans are excited about the pop diva’s return to Sin City. An Instagram user, dimitridahhhling,  wrote: “Omggggg!!!! Yessssss!!!!! The scream I just let out!!! Can’t wait to see you Mimi!” Another Instagram user, heyits.erik, commented: “yessssss mothaaaaa!!!!! i will be there 💙🦋.”
