L’Impératrice Drop Smashing Single “Love from the Other Side”

After receiving raving reviews from their recent Coachella performances, L’Impératrice is here to live up to the hype, delivering their latest single “Love from the Other Side.” The Parisian band swept festival-goers off their feet last month in the desert, and are riding incredible momentum as they head toward the June 7th release of their third album, Pulsar.

This release marks the band’s first English-language single off their new album, and it is simply astounding. The track moves freely with front-woman Flore Benguingui’s vocals gently gliding over an undeniable groove.

The band’s founder, Charles de Boisseguin, shared some insight into the creation of the track, stating:

The first time I heard the instrumental, I thought, ‘That’s the vibe,’ even though it’s really different than what we do. There is a British side to it, like Gorillaz with a bit of MGMT.

L’Impératrice also just added a headline show at Los Angeles’ historic Shrine Expo Hall on their upcoming Fall tour, which will be their last US stop before heading to Europe. You don’t want to miss it.
