J Balvin, Natti Natasha & Others Mourn Loss of Music Producer Flow La Movie
Friends and colleagues are mourning the loss of music producer José Angel Hernández, better known as Flow La Movie. The 38-year-old producer died, along with his partner, four-year-old son, and six other passengers and crew members when their plane crashed Wednesday (December 15) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Flow La Movie was behind the 2017 hit song “Te Boté,” which was released as a remix the following year by Nicky Jam and Puerto Rican artists Bad Bunny and Ozuna. He also produced Nio García’s “AM” and “La Jeepeta.”
Colombian singer J Balvin shared his sentiments on social media about Flow’s tragic death.
“José Ángel, thank you for your good vibes!!” Balvin wrote. “Rest in peace!!”
Dominican singer Natti Natasha tweeted: “#RIP @FlowLaMovie” with a broken heart emoji.
Natasha’s fiancé, Raphy Pina, shared his thoughts about the death of his fellow music producer.
“What a great pain dear God,” Pina, 43, wrote. “A warrior, his family, and crew lost their lives on a flight! Condolences to all of his loved ones. Horrible event! RIP! How bad.”
Puerto Rican DJ Nelson wrote about a favorite phrase they shared for inspiration.
“I prepared you to face this business,” he wrote. “Our favorite phrase was ‘you imagine yourself.’ Flow La Movie. I’m going to miss you very much, I ask God for strength for the Family. See you soon, son.”
Puerto Rican rapper Guaynaa shared his thoughts on social media, as well.
“God, protect us. Flow La Movie, rest in peace with your wife and your children,” he wrote. “We’re praying for you, there are so many of us that love and respect you. “We’re here for you!”
