Banda MS Announces U.S. Dates for 2024 New Decade Tour

One of the top-selling banda music acts will be performing concerts across the U.S. this year. Last night (Jan. 15), Mexican group Banda MS announced its 2024 New Decade Tour dates.

With nearly 17 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Banda MS is one of the most-streamed música mexicana acts. Though the group hails from Mazatlán, Sinaloa, they have helped bridge the banda music gap between Mexico and the U.S. Last year, Banda MS teamed up with L.A.-based rapper Ice Cube for the song “¿Cuáles Fronteras?” The music video included a poignant message about Latine people who immigrated to the U.S. in search of a better life.

Another one of Banda MS’ biggest hits is “Que Maldición” featuring Long Beach-based rapper Snoop Dogg. After its release, the ensemble released a remix, adding Mexican-American pop star Becky G. The song reflected Banda MS’ desire to unite people from different backgrounds through a banda music banger.

“This is a union of three cultures,” Banda MS’ singer Oswaldo “Walo” Silvas Carreón told Remezcla at the time. “We need this unity because we’re living in an era of disunion between races, colors and genders. To include Becky G, who is a woman, on this project, is going to globalize the unity that we’re hoping to achieve.”

On Banda MS’ New Decade Tour, fans will most likely hear those songs mentioned above and more of the group’s greatest hits. The tour will visit select cities throughout the U.S. and Mexico. The U.S. leg kicks off on Feb. 10 at Hidalgo, TX. Throughout dates booked to Sep., Banda MS will perform in major cities like Chicago, IL; El Paso, TX; Los Angeles, CA; Phoenix, AZ; and New Orleans, LA. The tour will wrap on Sep. 13 in Las Vegas, NV, in time for the city’s Mexican Independence Day celebrations.

Tickets for the tour are now available for purchase. The New Decade Tour is celebrating 20 years of Banda MS in the music industry.
