Bad Bunny, Peso Pluma & More Lead the 2023 Premios Juventud Nominations

This summer’s award season is around the corner. On June 13, the full nomination list for the 2023 Premios Juventud is out, with Bad Bunny, Becky G, and Peso Pluma leading the pack with nine nods each. The awards will take place at the historic Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on July 20. It will air live on Univision at 7 p.m. ET.

Bad Bunny received nominations like Premios Juventud Male Artist, My Favorite Streaming Artist, Best Song For My Ex for “Un X100to” with Grupo Frontera, and more categories. Becky G is up for Premios Juventud Female Artist, Girl Power for “La Loto” with TINI and Anitta, and Best Urban Album – Female for Esquemas, among other categories. As for Peso Pluma, you can find him nominated in categories like New Generation – Regional Mexican, My Favorite Streaming Artist, and Best Regional Mexican Song with Eslabon Armado for “Ella Baila Sola.” Additional artists tied with nine nominations are Shakira, Grupo Frontera, Maluma, Rauw Alejandro, Rosalía, and TINI.

Other artists with multiple recognitions include Karol G, Camilo, Manuel Turizo, and María Becerra, who received eight nominations each. Karol G is up for the Girl Power, Best Urban Track, and Best Pop/Urban Collaboration categories for “TQG” with Shakira, among others. Camilo is nominated in categories like Pop Track Of The Year for “Ambulancia” with Camila Cabello, Best Pop Album for De Adentro Pa Afuera, and Best Regional Mexican Fusion for “Alaska” with Grupo Firme. Manuel Turizo is up in categories including Premios Juventud Male Artist, OMG Collaboration for “El Merengue” with Marshmello, and Tropical Hit for “La Bachata.” 

Additional notable nominees include Bratty, Young Miko, and paopao, all nominated in the New Generation – Female Artist. Also, the New Generation – Regional Mexican category highlights Conexión Divina, Grupo Marca Registrada, and Grupo Frontera.

Moreover, there are 15 new categories at the 2023 Premios Juventud. These include: “Best Song for My Ex,” “Best Dembow Song,” and “Best Trap Song,” among others.

Fans have until June 26 to vote for their favorite artists at Premios Juventud’s official website.
