Grupo Firme Announces Eduin Caz’s Last Tour Before Retiring – 2024 La Última Peda Tour
Grupo Firme will perform in concerts across the U.S. for the last time. Today (Mar. 18), the Mexican banda group announced the dates for their upcoming 2024 La Última Peda Tour.
Grupo Firme are one of the top-selling touring groups in música mexicana. Led by lead singer Eduin Caz, the band has sold out stadiums across the U.S. and Mexico. Grupo Firme’s last touring trek, the Enfiestados y Amanecidos Tour, saw them bringing their banda bangers to other parts of Latin America.
Last year, Caz revealed that he would retire from performing with Grupo Firme. He cited “emotional stability” and later health issues as his reasons for wanting to step away from the spotlight. Fortunately for Grupo Firme fans, the guys have planned an extensive farewell tour to party with them one last time.
After teasing the tour since January, Grupo Firme finally announced all the dates at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, CA. During the special event, they revealed that La Última Peda Tour will visit cities in the U.S., Latin America, and Europe. The U.S. leg kicks off on May 10 in San Antonio, TX. Caz and his bandmates will perform in other cities across the country, like Houston, TX; Miami, FL; Newark, NJ; Las Vegas, NV; and Phoenix, AZ. The last date in the U.S. will take place on Nov. 2 at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, CA.
Pre-sale tickets for the tour will be available starting on Wednesday, Mar. 20, at 10 a.m. local time. The general public sale will go live on Friday, Mar. 22, at 10 a.m. local time.
During the Grupo Firme’s break these past few months, the guys were actually working on new music. On Mar. 12, the band released the album En Vivo Desde Mazatlán, Sinaloa. The live LP includes collaborations with La Arrolladora Banda El Limón De René Camacho, Grupo Clasificado, Los Nuevos Rebeldes, and Chuy Lizárraga y su Banda Tierra Sinaloense.
