Here Are All the Special Guests at Tainy’s ‘Data’ Concert in Puerto Rico
Tainy assembled an all-star team for his homecoming concert in Puerto Rico last Friday (Jan. 5). The Puerto Rican superstar was joined by his previous mentors Luny Tunes, Bad Bunny, Rauw Alejandro, Young Miko, and more artists.
Tainy made his formal debut as an artist last year with the release of his album Data. Following years of producing hits for other artists, he rallied his collaborators to feature on his first major solo project. The album includes the hits like “Lo Siento BB” with Bad Bunny and Julieta Venegas and “Pasiempre” featuring Arcángel, Jhayco, Arca, Myke Towers, and Omar Courtz. Data is currently nominated for Best Música Urbana Album at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
Tainy brought the experience of his album to life at the Data concert in Puerto Rico. Over 16,000 people gathered to see the producer shine as an artist in his sold-out concert at El Coliseo. Tainy paid homage to the people who paved the way for him when Luny Tunes and Nely “El Arma Secreta” joined him to perform the classics like “Dale Don Dale,” “Llamé Pa’ Verte,” and “Contacto.” Another OG who appeared as a special guest was Arcángel, who sang “Pa Que La Pases Bien.”
“This concert is not just a celebration of my journey but a testament to the power of music in creating shared experiences,” Tainy shared in a statement.
Tainy then performed his more hits like “Party” alongside Rauw Alejandro. Álvaro Díaz also joined him onstage to sing “Llori Pari” and “Paranormal.” Other special guests included Young Miko and Kris Floyd. Bad Bunny came out at the end and performed “No Me Quiero Casar,” “La Santa,” and “Callaita” along with Tainy. Throughout the concert, Tainy was also joined by Sena, the anime character that he created for the Data album. Sena can also be seen on the cover of the LP.
