Feid shows how he became Ferxxo in his new music video, “Vente Conmigo.” The rising Colombian star sees a town succumb to Feid fever in the music video, released today (Aug. 3).

Following the release of his breakthrough LP, Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo Te Pirateamos El Álbum, last September, Feid has been on fire. Thanks to his global hits like “Normal” and “Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo,” he has consistently ranked among the 10 most-streamed artists globally on Spotify. On his recent singles, Feid is pushing his sound to new places, and “Vente Conmigo” continues that progression.

In “Vente Conmigo,” Feid blends his nostalgic reggaeton sound with elements of Afrobeats. He becomes a smooth operator as he sings about being enamored by a woman in the club. Following their perreo on the dance floor, Feid invites her to come home with him. “Vente Conmigo” shows how Feid is embracing the global appeal of his music and applying that mindset to his music in a refreshing way.

Moreover, Feid shows Ferxxo’s origin story in the “Vente Conmigo” music video. He blows out the candles on a birthday cake with the number 19, the name of his 2019 debut album with Universal Music Latino. Feid appears to make a wish for success, which starts to come true in Twilight Zone-like ways. As he comes across things that are a part of Ferxxo’s signature look, like the green Nikes and Oakley sunglasses, the townspeople start following him around. Once in full Ferxxo gear, he has to run away from the folks infected by Feid fever.

Briefly at the start of the video, the word “Underground” flashes on the screen, which could be the name of Feid’s next project. His recent hits include “Classy 101” with Young Miko and the Sean Paul-assisted “Niña Bonita.” Feid wrapped up the European leg of his Nitro Jam Underground Tour with upcoming dates in Mexico later this month.
