You Need To Watch This KIDZ BOP ‘Ella Baila Sola’ Cover

Eslabon Armado and Peso Pluma’s “Ella Baila Sola” is not only the song of the summer, but it’s also KIDZ BOP’s latest cover. Yes, you read that right.

On Aug. 29, KIDZ BOP dropped their latest music video featuring Eslabon Armado’s “Ella Baila Sola.” However, instead of Pedro Tovar or Peso Pluma’s vocals, the cover features children singing the massive hit. Sonically, the track still features the song’s distinguished guitars, brass instruments, and overall catchy melody that’s responsible for making it one of this year’s most played tracks. Lyrically, there are minor changes. The kid-friendly cover switched out lyrics such as “morra” to “niña,” “buena” to “guapa,” and “su cuerpo” to “su risa.”

Social media users are shocked by the surprising and out-of-the-box cover. A social media user wrote: “😭 an ‘ella baila sola’ Kidz bop version exists, keeeee.” Another social media user echoed the same sentiment: “i’m dying bruh there’s a kidz bop cover of ella baila sola.” 

Moreover, not only did KIDZ BOP release their own version, but they also performed the cover at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in Mexico (Aug. 29). Before the event, Eslabon Armado sent the kids their best wishes for the performance: “A big hug to Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in Mexico and a big hug to KIDZ BOP. Give it your all and good luck, from Eslabon Armado.”

This isn’t the first major Spanish-language hit that has reached the KIDZ BOP universe. Other covers include Karol G and Shakira’s “TQG,” Shakira and Bizarrap’s “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53,” and Rosalía’s “DESPECHÁ,” which are under their En Español channel.

“Ella Baila Sola” has undoubtedly become one of 2023’s hits. Besides topping Spotify’s Most-Streamed Songs of Summer Globally list, the song also left its mark earlier this year by becoming the first regional Mexican track to hit the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
