Timothée Chalamet’s Bodega Fit Is Full of Designer Pieces
True New Yorkers know that a trip to the bodega is an essential run. It’s where you pop out to quickly grab a delicious bacon, egg, and cheese, or trash bags, or baking soda or whatever your heart desires. Native New Yorker Timothée Chalamet sure knows this. This week, in between Saturday Night Live rehearsals (he’s hosting this week), he was spotted heading to his local deli—and in a designer fit, no less. It wasn’t a flashy designer look, but rather a stealthy one, as his comfy fit was full of luxury labels upon closer inspection.
Let’s start with that jacket, the most obvious designer piece. The green nylon zip-up is by Prada, which you can tell by the small triangle logo by the pocket (subtle, but definitely there). The middle of his outfit was pretty low key; he went for black Nike sweatpants, a green hoodie, and sneakers. But those in the know will also recognize his cap from Elara Pictures. The humble hat refers to the indie production company behind Uncut Gems, and has become the ultimate status piece among film buffs in the know. To finish his outfit, Chalamet wore Lanvin’s chunky pink Curb sneakers, which come with some seriously hefty shoelaces. The whole fit is classic New York—casual-cool on first glance, but quietly luxe on further inspection. Whatever he’s carrying covered in that tin foil is likely delicious, but this outfit is even more so.
