The Euphoria and White Lotus actress fronts the fantastical holiday campaign for Tory Burch’s Good Luck Trainer

It’s the season for gift-giving, eating decadently, some quickfire family feuds, and, most pertinently, some lovingly long-held traditions. Do you have a Christmas eve ritual that you share with your loved ones? A side dish that Hannukah can’t proceed without? A piece of clothing the holiday season has to see year in year out to get you feeling lucky?

In the true and joyful spirit of things, Tory Burch launches a festive campaign to celebrate the Good Luck Trainer. The New York born and bred brand brought us a Fall 2021 trainer collection that celebrates good luck and the sparkling opportunities you can make for yourself, this season and beyond. Now, Euphoria and White Lotus actress Sydney Sweeney leads the seasonal campaign that’s all about getting lucky, positive thinking, and sharing joy with others at a time when we definitely need it.

The Good Luck Trainer is both playful and chic, with a wishbone shape embedded in its sole for good luck. The trainer features flattering lines and extra support – an oversized ergonomic sole for lift, elongating deep ankle scoop, and that iconic Double T logo set at an angle. The innovative design with the wishbone shape encourages forward momentum when you walk – the physical manifestation of luck being what you make of it, whether stomping down LES or up the driveway to your parents on Christmas morning.

In a previous collab with Dazed, Tory Burch brought three women together to highlight their own relationships to the concept of luck for Good Luck Stories – the women share their talismans, affirmations, perspectives, and personal rituals. Skate Kitchen member and Betty actress Ajani Russell, model of the moment Ella Snyder, and singer-songwriter Ashe were shot in the three dreamy visuals by Emily Lipson for Tory Burch and Dazed Studio, exploring the very personal and creative ideas around luck. “Luck is the perfect combination of desire, intentions, timing, and action,” Ajani shared.

Beloved designer Tory – who includes Saweetie, Selena Gomez, and Mindy Kahling as fans – has always been fascinated by symbols of good luck across continents and cultures. From the evil eye to knocking on wood, as well as her own personal tradition of carrying a red ribbon when she travels.

When we think about the physical objects that we channel our hopes, dreams, and asks for little strokes of luck from, fashion is a go-to physical talisman. So how do you give the gift of good luck this season? Sydney will be sharing her tips and tricks for how she manifests good luck and keeps up goodwill in the holidays in a short film, produced by Dazed Studio and Tory Burch, dropping later this week. Stay lucky, stay tuned!
