Selena Gomez Defends Hailey Bieber Against ‘Hateful Negativity’

Selena Gomez is breaking her silence and condoning the hate that Hailey Bieber has been receiving online.

The “Kill Em With Kindness” songstress took to her Instagram Story Today (March 24) after hearing about all of the backlash that Hailey has been getting online.

“Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity. This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying,” Selena said.

“I’ve always advocated for kindness and eally want this all to stop,” she continued.

On top of defending Hailey, Selena began to follow her on Instagram as well.

The news that Selena took to her social media to share this message of kindness comes a month since she addressed claims that Hailey and her friend Kylie Jenner were making fun of her.

Kylie went on to debunk the claims that she was throwing any kind of shade toward Selena.

“This is reaching. No shade towards Selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts! [You] guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly,” she wrote under a post.

Selena agreed with Kylie that there was no disrespect at all.

“Agreed [Kylie Jenner]. It’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie.

In the past, Selena commented in response to a Hailey Bieber TikTok that was seemingly about her. However, Hailey denied that the video was about her and deleted it afterwards.
