Residente, Alejandro Fernández, Julieta Venegas & More to Perform at This Costa Rica Festival
2023 isn’t even over yet and we’re already looking forward to next year’s music festivals. On Nov. 14, Picnic Festival Centroamérica revealed its highly-anticipated 2024 lineup, which features artists like Residente, Arcángel, Julieta Venegas, Alejandro Fernández, and more. The international festival will take place on Feb. 10 and Feb. 17 at the Centro de Eventos Pedregal in San José, Costa Rica.
Per the Costa Rican festival’s press release, a total of 52 bands will participate in next year’s two-day event. Thirty-two international bands and 20 local ones will take the stage in 2024. Picnic Festival Centroamérica’s lineup includes diverse genres, like música mexicana, pop, rap, rock, and reggae.
On Sat. (Feb. 10), the headliners are Residente, Arcángel, Wiz Khalifa, and Bizarrap. Other artists include Tokischa, Nicki Nicole, Julieta Venegas, and Los Cafres. The following Sat. (Feb. 17), the featured artists are J Balvin, Alejandro Fernández, and Alan Walker. Myke Towers, León Larregui, and Rawayana will also perform on this date.
“Since our beginnings, Picnic Festival Centroamérica has aimed to stand out as an integral event that fuses culture, gastronomy, fashion, and music to establish itself as one of the most relevant festivals in Latin America,” the festival’s producer, Adrián Gutiérrez, said in a press release.
He continued: “With a lineup that competes on a global scale, it makes us a destination for those looking for unique experiences. The variety of artists and genres we will have on both days is a sample of our reach and dedication to continue positioning ourselves as the largest festival in the region.”
Tickets for the Picnic Festival Centroamérica are on sale now. Currently, their Picnic Pass Tier 1 is priced at ¢170,000 (approximately $320.50). The General Tier 1 is priced at ¢120,000 (approximately $226.23). For more information, visit their Instagram and their official website.
