Peso Pluma to Perform at Adidas 2026 World Cup Opening Watch Party at LA’s BMO Stadium

Following their recent collaboration on a soccer jersey collection, Peso Pluma and adidas are deepening their partnership in anticipation of the 2026 World Cup. The global sportswear brand has announced an official watch party and live performance to celebrate the tournament’s opening in June.

The event, organized in collaboration with the Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee, is scheduled for June 11 at BMO Stadium. The festivities will begin at 11 a.m. PT with a public watch party for the opening match between Mexico and South Africa. The day will also feature the adiCup, a nationwide 3v3 soccer tournament, before concluding with a second watch party for the South Korea vs. Czechia match at 7 p.m. PT.

Following the matches, BMO Stadium will transition into a celebratory concert space featuring a headline performance by Peso Pluma, accompanied by a DJ set from Noodles. Fans can secure free tickets for the performance starting June 1 via Ticketmaster.

This event is part of the broader adidas FIFA World Cup 26 Home of Soccer Brand Hubs initiative. These fan destinations, which will also appear in New York City and Toronto, are designed to offer public access to tournament-related activities throughout the event, which runs from June 11 through July 19. In New York, the World Cup NYNJ Host Committee will host watch parties at Brooklyn Bridge Park, featuring performances by PinkPantheress and Larry June. Additional events are planned for Atlanta, Houston, Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey.

Earlier this month, the Música Mexicana star made headlines by partnering with adidas to design a special Mexico 26 away jersey for the 2026-27 season. Reflecting on the collaboration, the artist stated, “This isn’t just about me — it’s for my people, my culture and everyone pushing Mexico forward. I’m excited to join the adidas family and keep showing the world who we are.”
