Natti Natasha & Prince Royce Team up for Romantic ‘Antes Que Salga El Sol’ Video
Dominicanos unite! Natti Natasha and Prince Royce join forces for their new single “Antes Que Salga El Sol.”
“Antes Que Salga El Sol” marks the second time the Dominican musicians have collaborated. Last year, both jumped on Argentine rapper’s remix of “Ayer Me Llamó Mi Ex” with Aventura’s Lenny Santos.
“Working on this collaboration with Prince Royce has been a true honor,” Natasha said in a statement. “I met him when I was in New York looking for my first big break in music. I saw him as a young man achieving his dreams and, from that moment, he became an inspiration for me.”
Natasha and Prince Royce wrote “Antes Que Salga El Sol” with hit producers DJ Luian and Mambo Kingz. Fans were speculating if this was going to be a bachata or a perreo track. It turned out to be a romantic reggaetón bop with both singers trading steamy lyrics about taking their party for two into the bedroom. The collaboration is a beautiful blend of Royce’s tropical spirit with Natti’s reggaetón edge.
Premiered today (Jan. 19), the song’s official music video–a dreamy interpretation of the soundtrack to a love story-was shot in Miami, Florida by director Carlos Perez for Elastic People.
“Everything happened very spontaneously,” Royce added. “We were shooting a video together, and that night they called me to head into the studio. I heard the song, and immediately started writing my part, and recorded right then and there. The process has been magical, and working, once again, with my fellow Dominican Natti has been a true pleasure.”
