Marc Anthony Helps a Fan Check Something Off Her Bucket List — & We’re Jealous
Singer Marc Anthony made the wish of a special fan come true during his concert Saturday night (November 6) in Orlando.
Linda Cristina Santiago posted a video from inside the Amway Center where Anthony was making a stop for his Pa’lla Voy Tour. The video shows Linda’s grandmother, Fela, standing in the front row watching Anthony on stage. A big red sign is held behind her with the words “Fela’s Bucket List” printed at the top.
The list confirmed that Fela was 95 years old and that she survived Hurricane Maria and COVID-19. The only item that did not have a checkmark next to it was “Dance with Marc.”
The sign did its job and got Anthony’s attention. He first read it to the arena full of concertgoers as Fela stood there smiling and then invited her on stage. Fela was quickly whisked from the front row and up the steps to meet Marc face to face. Her granddaughter Linda is seen crying in the crowd as her grandmother’s wish is granted.
Once on stage, Fela knew the assignment. She danced with Anthony to some salsa beats and even took a full spin to show off her skills. After the quick dance, she and Anthony embraced, and he gave her two kisses on her cheeks.
In September, Anthony was caught being a great guy again when he jumped off the stage during a concert at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn to say hello and sing to a blind teenager named Johnny Rivera Jr. who was celebrating his 16th birthday.
