Lil Nas X Hits the 2021 Met Gala Red Carpet in Three Different Looks
You can better your bottom dollar that Lil Nas X is going to show up and show out every time there’s a red carpet involved. The 2021 Met Gala was no different. He pulled out all the stops, hitting the carpet with three larger-than-life looks.
First, he pulled up in a regal gold cape with a tapered haircut that screamed crisp precision.
After posing for the paps, he ditched his first look for a golden suit of armor.
For his final look, Lil Nas slayed in a shimmering black and gold Versace jumpsuit.
The “Montero” singer dished on the inspo for his fashionable fits during a chat with KeKe Palmer and Ilana Glazer on the Met Gala live stream. “It’s about three different looks,” he said. “Royalty, armor and sexy, slutty.”
Lil Nas briefly touched on what encourages him to live so boldly and proudly. “I feel like Covid let me get a lot of time to think and block people’s thoughts about what I have to do.” He said he realized that “we only get one chance to do this,” and it’s inspired him to fearlessly live out his dreams.
