While writing “Sakura,” Kris Kolls allowed the music to unfold naturally, which was the reason it came out amazing, much like the flower it’s named after. In the song she compares herself to the cherry blossom tree — fragile, fleeting, yet full of life. 

A classically trained pianist and graduate of the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK), Kris Kolls has built a career merging music, and visual art. Her performances defy gravity, combining soulful singing with elegant aerial movement on hoops, trapezes, and poles.
