Koresma Enlists Metic on Groovy New Remix of “Fork in the Road”
Just last month, we covered Koresma‘s impressive new collaboration with Emancipator, leaving us eager to hear more from the growing producer. Koresma now recruits rising artist, Metic, on a remix for his track, “Fork in the Road,” paying tribute to the success of his debut album, Compass.
Buckle up and get ready for one of the grooviest, funkiest remixes we’ve covered in a long time. Metic holds nothing back on his instrumentation and thoughtful arrangements. Contrasting the legato, open feel of the original track, Metic focuses on crafting a bouncy groove for the existing elements to shine around. We absolutely loved Metic’s interpretation of this chill electronic tune.
Metic commented on what this remix means to him:
Man after years of making bootlegs I’m so stoked to share my first official remix! Had the pleasure of remixing ‘Fork in the Road’ from Koresma off of his Compass LP, and reimagined it in a more upbeat boombap groove while doing my thing on the guitar and bass. Real proud of how this turned out! Much love to Koresma for having me be a part of the Compass project.
