Khruangbin Shares Highly Dynamic Album ‘A LA SALA’

Our favorite Texan trio is back with their brand new studio album, A LA SALA! This isn’t to say that we didn’t love their 2023 Live at Sydney Opera House album series – because we did. We were just craving some new original bops to jam to, and Khruangbin absolutely delivered above and beyond on every expectation we could have had.

The thought and time that went into arranging the album as a whole is extremely potent. The way each song flows from one to the next is extremely intentional. Each guitar note carefully played, strategic stereo pan, and effectual percussion element added is there for a reason, and recorded with care. Our personal favorite from the album, “Pon Pón,” especially provides a glimpse into the band’s dynamic in their writing and performing, but we recommend giving the entire album a listen.
