Here’s What Alex Rodriguez Had to Say About JLo Days Before Her Wedding
After Jennifer Lopez broke the internet by revealing she had tied the knot with fiancé, actor, and Oscar-winning screenwriter Ben Affleck (Good Will Hunting) in Las Vegas this past weekend, many people online had a lot of questions. For example, who received an invitation? And where did JLo get her dress? There were, of course, negative comments, too.
Something else that JLo fans and others were wondering was how Lopez’s ex-fiancé and baseball legend Alex Rodriguez was feeling now that she was married. While Rodriguez hasn’t said anything about the marriage itself, he did talk a bit about life post-JLo during a recent interview on The Martha Stewart Podcast days before the wedding, calling his life “healthier, happier, and more grateful.” Rodriguez and Lopez were engaged for two years before ending their relationship in April 2021.
“We always put the kids front and center in everything we do,” Rodriguez said, referring to the two children he has with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis and the two children López has with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
Rodriguez continued: “Here’s what I will tell you about Jennifer, and I was telling some of my colleagues here the other day: She’s the most talented human being I’ve ever been around, [the] hardest worker. And I think she is the greatest performer, live performer, in the world today that’s alive.”
Remezcla recently interviewed Alex Rodriguez, but we didn’t bring up his past relationship with Lopez. Instead, we talked about the launch of the “Step Up to the Plate” initiative, which creates opportunities for Latine students working towards a career in the sports industry.
