Here’s the First Footage of Bad Bunny Inside the ‘WWE 2K23’ Ring

Bad Bunny is stepping into the virtual ring for WWE 2K23. Today (February 28), the first footage was released of the Puerto Rican superstar in action in the upcoming video game.

Last month, it was announced that he would be a playable wrestler in the WWE 2K23 video game. Customers who pre-order the Standard Edition and Cross-Gen Bundle (or those who buy the Deluxe Edition or Icon Edition at the launch of the game), will get access to unlocking Benito as a character. A “special Ruby tier MyFaction card” will also be included with the Bad Bunny bonus bundle.

In the new video released, a virtual Bad Bunny walks up to the ring while doing his signature fingers-to-the-eyes gesture. His outfit includes the “2032” logo from his album El Último Tour Del Mundo. Inside the ring, he’s seen knocking out his opponents and tossing them around like rag dolls.

In the YouTube comments of the video, the WWE fandom is warming up to icon joining the beloved WWE 2K video series. “I’m excited for Bad Bunny to make his WWE2K Debut!” wrote one person. “Can’t believe I’m about to say this but actually looking forward to play as Bad Bunny dude was a good performer,” another person added.

Last month, the real Bad Bunny appeared in a trailer for WWE 2K23. He was spotted hanging out with an invisible John Cena and WWE icon Triple H. The Deluxe and Icon Editions of the game will be released on March 14 with a March 17 drop date for the standard edition.

During his brief but memorable wrestling tenure for the WWE, Bad Bunny participated in events like the 2021 Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 37. He also held the WWE 24/7 Championship for 28 days in 2021 after aligning with fellow Puerto Rican wrestler Damian Priest
