Don Omar Announces Second Leg of ‘Back to Reggaeton Tour’

After making his triumphant return to the stage, Don Omar has announced another round of shows. Today (April 10), the Puerto Rican icon announced a second leg of his Back to Reggaeton Tour.

Last year, Don Omar marked his return to music with the Back to Reggaeton EP. He reunited with reggaeton hit-makers Luny Tunes and Wisin y Yandel on the standout track “Sandunga.” Off the success of the EP, Don Omar later announced the Back to Reggaeton Tour. His comeback tour officially launched on March 7 at the Santander Arena in Reading, PA. The first leg of the tour will wrap up in Miami, FL, on April 21.

Fortunately for those Don Omar fans who missed out on his first round of shows, there will be a second leg of the tour in the U.S. this summer. He added 18 more concerts to the tour. The second leg will kick off on Aug. 7 at the Oakland Arena in Oakland, CA. The “Salió el Sol” will put on concerts in major cities like Austin, TX; Los Angeles, CA; San Diego, CA; Tampa, FL; and Newark, NJ. The second leg of the tour will wrap on Sep. 15 at the UBS Arena in Elmont, NY.

Pre-sale tickets for the second leg of the Back to Reggaeton tour will go on sale on Tuesday, Apr. 16. Tickets for the general public will be available the following day on Wednesday, Apr. 17. Be ready both days at 10 a.m. local time if you’re interested in purchasing tickets to see Don Omar live.

Back in December, Don Omar officially ended his feud with Daddy Yankee. Both reggaeton pioneers shared messages of support and admiration for one another. Daddy Yankee has since retired from music to focus on his other businesses and connection to God. He later released the religious track “Donante de Sangre.”
