DIESEL Teams Up With LEVEL UP For Massive Dubstep Tune “NEXT LVL”

One of the best stories going in EDM is DIESEL’s (Shaqille O’Neal) genuine love and appreciation for bass music as well as his commitment to working with some of the finest the bass scene has to offer. Today he teams up with one of dubstep’s biggest rising acts in LEVEL UP for a massive track, “NEXT LVL,” via Monstercat Uncaged.

LEVEL UP, aka Sonya Broner, is known for her dynamic live show, blending heavy and future bass, throwing bangers at the crowd leaving them not knowing what to expect. She came up as a battle DJ and a fan of hip-hop, which has helped her tune her craft into the talent she is today. DIESEL is a massive presence on stage (for obvious reasons) and the synchrony of his style of DJing and music taste with that of LEVEL UP make “NEXT LVL” an awesome listen.

On the collab LEVEL UP had this to say,

“‘NEXT LVL’ with Shaq was truly an amazing experience. We both originally came from a more hip-hop turntablism background, and we were both so excited to bring some of those elements into the song, especially through the intro. We went back and forth for a while about what kind of vibe we wanted, from the beat to the lyrics, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out in a way that encompasses us both as artists. Working with such a legend, and especially someone so kind and collaborative, was an experience I’ll never take for granted. I really think we put our whole hearts into this one, and you can definitely feel that when you listen to the track.”
