Mia Khalifa and Jhayco are social media “official” again. On Apr. 9, the Lebanese-American media personality published a happy birthday Instagram carousel, seemingly confirming the couple’s status.

Khalifa’s newest Instagram post is a carousel of pictures of the couple, including one of her modeling in a shirt with Jhayco’s face on it, him working on music at the studio, another of the two lovebirds kissing each other, and a video of them enjoying quality time on a boat. She captioned it: “feliz cumple, habibi♥️.” Habibi is an Arabic word of an endearment, translated to “my love,” in English. The “DÁKITI” singer echoed the same sentiment back: “Habibti 👸🏽🖤🦇💖😛.”

Fans are curious to know what’s going on between the two. A social media user wrote: “Jhayco and mía khalifa getting back together after MONTHS of dissing eachother 😭.” Another social media user commented: “finally mia khalifa stopped hiding jhayco jajajajajajajajajajaja.”

Though the former couple’s status is unconfirmed, the two have been going through ups and downs in the last two years. Last October, there was a heated online exchange following the Puerto Rican rapper’s Instagram story post of children in a cage with a broken heart emoji. Khalifa wrote at the time: “Please stop sending me my ex’s story of Palestinian children in cages claiming they’re Israeli. I knew he was a lost cause that lacked critical thinking when I had to beg&fight him to share a post in solidarity with Women after Roe v. Wade was repealed, he wouldn’t know a human rights violation from a traffic violation.” 

There seemed to be a change of heart by January when Khalifa indirectly posted Jhayco. Khalifa’s Instagram story showed her inside a car next to another passenger whose face we don’t see. However, eagle-eyed fans quickly recognized the Puerto Rican rapper’s tattoos, prompting speculation that the two were back together again.
