Cardi B in WWE? Fans React to the Idea After She Drops Name of Wrestling Legend in Song

Cardi B is getting some love from the daughter of a late wrestling legend she mentions in her newest song “Hot Shit.” The lyrics are making her fans wonder if they’ll ever see the icon appear in the WWE.

Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka is the Hall of Fame wrestler Cardi B pays tribute to in the song. The Fijian American wrestler performed for the WWE, then WWF, between 1982 and 1985 and again from 1989 to 1994. Some of Cardi B’s lyrics include: “Jimmy Snuka off the top ropes/Superfly shit/Might get in the tub with all my ice on some Pac shit/Either way you slice it, bottom line, I’m the top bitch.”

Snuka’s daughter Tamina, who is a WWE wrestler herself, called the song “hella dope” and wondered if she should teach Cardi B some moves in the ring.

“I heard it the day it dropped!!” she tweeted. “I luv me some [Cardi B]. Maybe I should teach her to go off the top ropes on some peeps.”

Cardi B jumping off the top ropes? Could she really follow in the footsteps of fellow star Bad Bunny and join the WWE ranks for a while? Some of Cardi B’s fans thought it might be something they’d like to see.

“I could picture Cardi joining WWE thought I heard mentions before but she definitely got the looks the personality the punchlines,” one Twitter user posted. “Plus, I always said they needed a Bronx chick on there.”

This isn’t the first song featuring the rapper that mentions Snuka. The 2018 song “I Like It” sung by Cardi B, Bad Bunny, and J Balvin includes the wrestler’s name in the lyrics.
