Barclay Crenshaw Drops Vibrant Electro Pop Flow “Stay Together”
DirtyBird patriarch, Barclay Crenshaw, has had a proper renaissance as of late. While he’s turned his sights towards the lower end of the sound spectrum, even announcing a full album, he continues to keep fans on their toes. In true Crenshaw fashion, he’s flipped the script once more on his latest single, “Stay Together,” featuring TeeZandos.
This new album sample finds Barclay and TeeZandos concocting glistening breakbeat bliss, a shift from previous album single “Big In The Game.” This shift was all too intentional as Crenshaw shares:
“People might be expecting a certain type of record from me, but this track is like a heads-up that they’re in for something very diverse. It’s not just a collection of hard bass music – it’s a signal that the album will bring a wide array of sounds.”
If there’s one thing we appreciate here at TSIS its an artist that’s committed to exploring the depths of a sonic spectrum, and Barclay Crenshaw is all to up for that challenge. His album Open Channel is due out March 8th. Until then, stream the latest single “Stay Together” below, and enjoy!
