bad tuner Releases Glittery, Rave-Inspired EP ‘look at me but through me’

We always have high expectations for new music from ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective, but today we were absolutely blown away by their latest release from rising artist bad tuner. Out via Ninja Tune, his new EP look at me but through me is a masterpiece.

Opening track “caught up” grabs us by the ears and pulls us onto the dancefloor with the glittering vocals from Hailes and disco vibes. Over the course of the rest of the EP, bad tuner explores and pulls influences from across the genre of dance music.

From Latin-textured UKG on “Maybe So,” to two-step and break beats on “jade,” to gritty underground acid sounds on “24 hours,” this project packs a powerful sonic punch. These songs simply beg for you to experience them at a rave, so it’s fitting that bad tuner will be embarking on his first headlining tour month.

Whether you catch a show or simply listen on your own, look at me but through me is a groundbreaking project that warrants your attention. Give it a listen below. Enjoy!
