Bad Bunny & Maluma Curate Playlists Celebrating Latinas for Tidal

Every now and then, our playlists could use some freshening up. Bad Bunny and Maluma are here to help you out with that. To mark the beginning of Our Heritage Month (Sep. 15), the global superstars are partnering with TIDAL to curate exclusive playlists and highlight their favorite Latina artists.

Kicking things off is Maluma’s playlist, which is full of crowd pleasers and recognizable hits from Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Karol G, and more. Some of his picks include collaborations he made with these superstars, and also featured classics. Bad Bunny opted to go the route of focusing on giving a platform to up-and-coming artists such as Villano Antillano, Young Miko, paopao, among others, with his playlist. However, there are some recognizable names like Karol G, Nicki Nicole, and Tokischa. We love to see male artists using their influence to create visibility for more female artists. Surely, these songs will sit comfortably amongst your regular rotation.

Bad Bunny is currently performing to sold-out stadiums on his World’s Hottest Tour as it continues moving through the U.S. He recently made headlines for inviting families of the Uvalde school shooting to his concert and giving one of the survivors a meet and greet.

Maluma is Billboard’s cover star this month for the “Latin Power Players” edition of the magazine. The Colombian singer warmed our hearts he shared on his Instagram that he’s buying a new house for a young cancer patient and his family. He will also be taking the stage at the Billboard Latin Music Awards when it airs on Thursday, Sept. 29. The ceremony coincides with Billboard Latin Music Week in Miami from Sept. 26 to Oct. 1. Papi Juancho will also be headlining the LA3C festival in Los Angeles, CA, on Dec. 10 to 11. Other performers include Megan Thee Stallion, Snoop Dogg, and K-pop group Seventeen.
