Bad Bunny Is Set To Perform a ‘Historic’ Livestream Concert
Hang on to your seats, because El Conejo Malo is back–officially. Bad Bunny is returning to the stage on an exclusive show live-streamed on Univision’s Uforia music app; the good news is, it’s happening as soon as this Sunday, September 20 and it’s completely free. The announcement says it will be “a historic digital concert from the biggest stage in the world,” but it doesn’t reveal any additional information, leaving fans everywhere scratching their heads.
Bad Bunny was originally scheduled to perform two sold-out shows on October 30-31, at San Juan’s Hiram Bithorn stadium, but they were finally cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This will be the first chance for San Benito fans to witness live renditions from his record-breaking 2020 album YHLQMDLG, and, if we’re lucky, from his follow-up surprise album Las Que No Iban a Salir. So even though we still can drop it at the club to the beat of “Safaera,” Bad Bunny has our backs and he’s coming right to our living rooms.
Bad Bunny’s last single was his all-star collaboration with Dua Lipa, J Balvin, and Tainy titled “Un Día (One Day),” released back in July. Benito is set to receive the Hispanic Heritage Award for Vision, given by the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, in recognition for his impact as an artist and activist. He also broke his extended social media silence late last month to get people in Puerto Rico to register to vote.
Uforia Live is streaming Bad Bunny’s concert on September 20 at 6 pm ET / 3 pm PT. For more information, click here.
