Are Peso Pluma & Drake Working on Music Together?

Is a collaboration between Peso Pluma and Drake coming soon? Last night (March 15), Drake brought out the Mexican artist as a special guest during one of his concerts.

Peso Pluma was in Austin, TX, earlier this week for SXSW. On Wednesday night, he performed during Rolling Stone’s Future of Music Showcase. He apparently stuck around in Texas to attend Drake’s concert in San Antonio last night.

Drake is currently performing in concerts across the U.S. on his It’s All A Blur Tour. During a surprise moment in San Antonio, he brought out the “Ella baila sola” singer to join him onstage. “Y’all better make some motherf**king noise for my boy Peso Pluma!” Drake told the audience. During the brief moment, Peso was excited to hype up the crowd alongside Drake.

Peso’s appearance at Drake’s concert is giving fans hope that they’ll collaborate on music together. “Getting closer to a collaboration,” one person wrote on X. “Ima need a peso pluma x drake track asap!!!” another person added.

Peso Pluma previously confirmed that he collaborated with A$AP Rocky, so there’s a chance he also has something cooking with Drake. It wouldn’t be far off for Drake, either. The Canadian artist has shown on multiple occasions that he is a fan of música mexicana. Last year, he was spotted partying with “El Gordo Trae El Mando” hit-maker Chino Pacas. A few days later, he dressed like a vaquero with the Mexican flag on his belt buckle for a party in Houston, TX.

The rising Mexican superstar is continuing to build hype for his next album, Éxodo, which will be released this summer. There’s a chance his song with A$AP Rocky and the collaboration with Drake that fans are hoping for could appear on that LP. In May, Peso Pluma will kick off his Éxodo Tour in the U.S.
