Andra Day Slips Into a Pair of Uggs (Yes, Really!) for the Oscars After Party

On the main Oscars red carpet, nominee Andra Day didn’t come to play. She arrived in a vampy Vera Wang gown that gave Angelina Jolie’s right leg a run for her money. As no Oscar look is complete without sky-high stilettos (unless you’re Chloé Zhao), Day finished her look with a strappy pair from Casadei. In a relatable twist, when it came time for the after-party hosted just for the cast and crew of her film The United States Vs. Billie Holiday at Spring Place, Day went swapped them for a pair of Uggs—yes, really!

To be fair, her fuzzy black pair of Ugg Fluffita sandals had a mega platform (it is a red carpet, after all!). They looked great with her second dress from Wang, and it doesn’t hurt that Uggs are becoming every fashion girl’s favorite shoe, either. With the main carpet over with, it was time to kick back and relax a bit. Bonus points: They’re also $100, so you can score a pair and channel a Hollywood star at home, too.
