The Warning Announces Historic Stadium Debut in Mexico City

The rock trio The Warning is set to make history, announcing their debut performance at the iconic Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City on Feb. 5, 2027. This milestone marks a significant achievement for the group, as they will become the first all-female Mexican band to headline the legendary stadium. The concert is a centerpiece of their expansive Everything’s Falling World Tour.

“OUR FIRST STADIUM!!! We’ve dreamed and worked so hard to reach this moment, we still can’t believe it’s finally happening,” the band—comprised of sisters Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra Villarreal—shared in a social media statement. “See you at Estadio GNP Seguros on February 5, 2027!”

According to promoter OCESA, ticket presales for the event will be available through Ticketmaster Mexico on Sept. 9 and 10 for HSBC bank customers, with general public sales commencing on Sept. 11.

This announcement follows a whirlwind week for the band. Just one day prior, it was revealed that The Warning will serve as the headlining act for the halftime show at this year’s NFL game in Mexico City, which will feature the Minnesota Vikings and the San Francisco 49ers. These career-defining moments arrive on the heels of the release of their fifth studio album, Everything’s Falling, which dropped on Aug. 28.

The band’s recent trajectory has been nothing short of meteoric. They recently made history by becoming the first Mexican group and the first all-female band to top Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with their hit single “Kerosene,” which claimed the No. 1 spot on the ranking dated Sept. 5. Hailing from Monterrey, the trio has successfully bridged the gap between their Mexican roots and a global rock audience, with a repertoire predominantly in English.

As they continue their global rise, the band has maintained a rigorous touring schedule across Europe, Asia, and South America, while also making high-profile appearances at major international festivals. Their versatility is further evidenced by their recent collaboration with regional Mexican superstar Carín León on the track “Love To Be Loved,” a song that masterfully blends country music with hard rock sensibilities.
