Pedro Fernández Unveils ‘Te Doy La Vida’: A New Era in Ranchera Music

Pedro Fernández is set to release “Te Doy La Vida” on July 19, marking his 40th album and first in five years, and the debut release under his own label, Fernández Music. In an interview, Fernández shared that the production was meticulous, aiming to meet fans’ high expectations. The album, crafted by Fernando de Santiago, features 15 tracks, including six co-authored by Fernández, showcasing a mix of his signature romantic ballads and energetic dance tracks.

Among the album’s standouts are “Dulcesito de Chamoy,” a ballad rich in Mexican idioms, and energetic tracks like “El Mariachi.” Fernández also honors musical legends Leo Dan and Rigo Tovar with covers of their hits, reflecting his deep respect for their work.

A steadfast proponent of traditional mariachi music, Fernández continues to represent the soul of Mexico while embracing new stylistic contributions from younger generations. Beyond music, his recent roles in series like Telemundo’s “Malverde: El Santo Patrón” and HBO’s “Mariachis” have kept him connected with a broad audience.

With a new management deal with Starmedia Consulting, Fernández is excited about the future. He anticipates announcing tour dates in Mexico and the U.S. for 2024-2025, as part of a revitalized phase in his longstanding career.
