Justice Returns with Fourth Studio Album ‘Hyperdrama’
When Justice debuted their self-titled album in 2007, an iconic era of electronic music began. Hits like “D.A.N.C.E” and “Genesis” forever became classics, and there was no denying the sheer genius of Justice’s creations moving forward. Now, seventeen years later, the duo shares their fourth (or fifth, if you count Gaspard’s solo LP) studio album, Hyperdrama.
Hyperdrama lives up to the precedent of immaculate Justice albums of the past, but with its own unique spin. For one, this is the most collaborative LP Justice has ever released. In fact, it is their only album containing features from other artists. The duo’s choice of collaborators couldn’t be better, with names like Tame Impala and Thundercat adorning the list. Justice reminds us why they are electronic royalty, filling Hyperdrama with their classic saturated synth stabs and invigorating drum machines. They also experiment with some new styles, courtesy of their dynamic slew of collaborators.
