Jenny69’s Viral “La 69” is #1 Trending for Music on Youtube

In less than a week since her music debut, Instagram beauty influencer Jennifer Ruiz, better known as Jenny69, is #1 trending for music on Youtube for the first single of her career, “La 69.”

The Mexican-American “buchona,” who boasts two million followers on Instagram, has well over three million views on her new track and video on YouTube. Whether the numbers are rising because of her built-in fan base, curiosity from passersby or internet trolls doing what they do best, Jenny69 has people talking.

We won’t ignore the haters’ hate completely. Apparently, earlier this week, “La 69” became the most disliked corrido on YouTube after only a week. This is based on the video’s downvotes on the website. She surpassed Lluvia Arambula’s song Por La H, which was released last month.

Currently, “La 69” has over four times as many downvotes (207,000) as it has upvotes. Someone even commented that the release of “La 69” was the reason Instagram was down this week.

Still, no matter what is getting people to listen and watch, they’re coming in droves, so Jenny69 should probably embrace it like Arambula has. After crossing the two million mark on YouTube, Arambula thanked everyone on Instagram, “hater or lover,” and promised more music soon. “Los quiero un chingo,” she wrote.
