Zendaya Just Wore the Curve-Hugging Dress Instagram is Obsessed With
Last Friday, Loewe presented their spring/summer ’22 collection on the runway of Paris Fashion Week. For the next 48 hours, I literally couldn’t open my Instagram without seeing some iteration of the amorphous, golden breastplate that was the focal point of the new line.
The shimmering blob dominated the Stories, Reels, and grid posts of virtually *every* fashion editor I know. With that kind of popularity, those dresses were gonna be nearly impossible to get your hands on.
But not even a full week later, one of the viral designs already made it to the red carpet. Who was the elite celeb deigned worthy of the single most sought-after fashion month look of the year? Actress and style icon Zendaya, obviously.
At the WIF Honors: Trailblazers Of The New Normal ceremony in LA, the Dune star utterly nailed the fresh-from-the-runway ensemble. She kept the glam minimal and went for a wet-look up-do that matched the modern aesthetic of the dress.
At her ears, wavy gold dangles hung and she (with the help of her stylist Law Roach) rounded out the look with matching gold pumps.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: this girl can do no wrong.
