ICYMI, the whole world’s gone wild for Netflix’s new The Crown-meets-Gossip Girl period drama, Bridgerton, so it was only a matter of time before the obsession began spilling into the fashion sphere. Besides endless TikTok videos exploring what’s been dubbed ‘Regencycore’ and girls wearing corsets everywhere you look, British rapper Shygirl channelled the era in her latest music video “Tasty” in a series of candy-hued ball gowns and 19th century blonde ringlets. Needless to say, we are extremely into it.

Meanwhile, celebs have been showing off plenty of looks in the first weeks of the new year, with Gigi Hadid accessorising her blazer with a dollar bill in New York, and Dua Lipa showing off an exposed g-string on her problematique tropical holiday. And, thanks to a bumper double Drag Race season (thank you Ru!), we saw iconic lewks from queen Symone, who took the top spot in a custom BCALLA x House of Avalon boxing fit, and the UK’s own Bimini Bon-Boulash, who recreated a blue tartan look previously worn by legendary British DJ and writer Princess Julia.
