WATCH: RBD Had a Mini-Reunion at Maite Perroni’s Wedding

A mini RBD reunion happened over the weekend. At her wedding on Saturday (Oct. 8), Maite Perroni reunited with her bandmates Anahí, Christian Chávez, and Christopher von Uckermann.

Perroni got married to the former Sale El Sol correspondent Andrés Tovar at Valle de Bravo in the state of Mexico. She celebrated the moment on Instagram with a photo from the wedding. In the photo, Perroni is smiling in her wedding dress alongside Tovar.

“We did it!” Perroni wrote. “Taking the first steps of the life we want to build together. Surrounded by our family and the hand of God, today we receive a blessing. Happy to be able to take steps that strengthen our path through this plane in which we managed to meet and that destiny gave us.”

Perroni’s wedding was also attended by a few of her former RBD bandmates. Anahí, Chávez, and Von Uckermann watched Perroni get married. Dulce María and Alfonso “Poncho” Herrera were not in attendance. The most viral moment from the wedding is what went down during the after-party.

Anahí rallied the members of RBD together when the song “Rebelde” started playing. While hugging each other, the quartet was singing along to the telenovela theme song. While all eyes were on them in the center of the room, Anahí led the partial RBD reunion in a performance of “Sálvame.” The whole room was singing along to the emotional chorus.

Anahí later posted a selfie from the wedding on Instagram with Perroni, Chávez, and Von Uckermann. “How nostalgic! I love you, soul siblings. What a gift to the heart for us to hug so strongly. We are missing two members,” she wrote. Anahí included the names of Dulce María and Herrera in her post.

Herrera wrote a sweet comment on the post to his old bandmates. “Everyone is beautiful! A big hug.” Another cast member from Rebelde who attended Perroni’s wedding was Angelique Boyer.
