Madonna brought out a Latine pop icon for the latest stop of her Celebration Tour. Last night (April 7), Puerto Rican superstar Ricky Martin appeared as a special guest during the Queen of Pop’s concert in Miami, FL. 

Last October, Madonna launched her Celebration Tour in the U.K. and Europe. She is performing all her greatest hits in honor of the 40th anniversary of her music career. In January, Madge kicked off the U.S. leg of the tour in Boston, MA. Since then, she has performed sold-out concerts throughout the states and Canada. During the performance of “Vogue,” she usually brings out a special guest to join her on stage. Many of the previous guests have been stars from RuPaul’s Drag Race, including Monét X Change, Plane Jane, and Sapphira Cristál. Bob the Drag Queen is the host of Madonna’s world tour.

For her second night in Miami, FL, Madonna brought out Ricky Martin for “Vogue.” The “Livin’ La Vida Loca” hit-maker sat on a stool next to Madonna as they judged dancers in the style of the queer ballroom scene. As the dancers impressed Madonna and Ricky on the runway, the two stars flashed a sign that gave them either a perfect 10 or a chop. It was amazing to see these icons who mean so much to the LGBTQ+ community come together for a night of fun at Madonna’s concert.

Madonna and Ricky Martin’s fans went wild online after seeing them together at last night’s concert. One person wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter), “Oh my god when Madonna brought out Ricky Martin’s fine ass I lost it.” Another person added in Spanish, “Yesterday I saw Ricky Martin at Madonna’s #CelebrationTour in Miami. Now I can die in peace.”

There’s a potential for more Latine guests with the Celebration Tour visiting Mexico City on Apr. 20. Madonna will wrap up the tour on May 4 with a free concert at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
