WATCH: Karol G Releases Surprise 2023 Recap Music Video “QUE CHIMBA DE VIDA”

Karol G is ending her year on a high note. On Dec. 13, the Colombian superstar dropped “QUE CHIMBA DE VIDA,” a musica Mexicana-influenced trap track to celebrate life’s special moments.

“I hope you wait until the little message at the end that is from me to you. Last song of the year … 2023 taught me more than any other year that everything I lived, witnessed, and experienced over the years, let me say today QUE CHIMBA DE VIDA [WHAT A GREAT LIFE]! With all the ups and downs. G R A C I A S ! link in Bio,” Karol wrote on her Instagram.

The new music video features moments that marked Karol’s 2023. Featured clips include moments from her Mañana Será Bonito Tour, recording videos like “S91,” and media headlines about her accomplishments. Other frames show the Colombian artist singing the verses of her new song, working out, and receiving special awards. She also includes clips from her Saturday Night Live skit, meeting Rihanna, performing with Alicia Keys, and her epic collaboration “TQG” with Shakira. Throughout the video, she also shows her family. She also features a clip alongside her alleged boyfriend, Feid.

At the end of the video, she wrote a thank you note to her fans. “I want to thank you all for joining me this year, for being part of so much happiness and so many dreams fulfilled… Without you, none of this would have been possible!”

She continued: “I wish everyone the best, and don’t worry if this year was not the year; we will manifest together so that next year and all those to come will be incredible years of fulfilling dreams and goals. I love you all, and thank you for so much!!!!”

The surprise song was revealed to her fans via her Telegram chat on Tues. (Dec. 12). She asked her fans to prepare the best videos and photos of the year to share with the new song. Moreover, the “TUSA” singer also unveiled her European tour dates this week, including new stops in Amsterdam, Berlin, and London in 2024.
