WATCH: Feid Drops Surprise ‘FERXXOCALIPSIS’ EP & ‘La Vuelta’ Music Video
Feid has a surprise for his fans just in time for the holidays. Today (Nov. 30), the Colombian superstar released his new EP FERXXOCALIPSIS and the “La Vuelta” music video featuring Mañas Rufino.
Feid has made a tradition to release new music close to December. Last year, he dropped the SIXDO EP, which included his hits like “Chorrito Pa Las Animas” and “Le Pido a Dios” with DJ Premier. The latter marked DJ Premier’s first collaboration with a Latine artist. For Christmas 2023, Feid is dropping FERXXOCALIPSIS. The EP features Colombian rappers like Mañas Rufino and Pirlo.
“I thank everyone who was part of this,” Feid wrote in a post on Instagram. “Colombia has a lot to show and this is just a little bit of that. I invite you to prepare for the FERXXOCALIPSIS and end the year how it is. I love you all so much, mor.”
Feid bridged the gap between hip-hop and Latine music with “Le Pido a Dios.” He continues to do that on a local level in Medellín with “La Vuelta” featuring Mañas Rufino. Feid blends his sentimental perreo sound with Mañas Rufino’s sensual rap flow. In the alluring banger, both guys sing about wanting another night of pleasure with their lovers. The music video is proudly Colombian, with scenes of Feid and Rufino performing the song on rooftops in their hometown.
Feid highlights more of Medellín’s rap scene in “Cual Es Esa” featuring Pirlo and “Yo Ak” with Jhay P. Like with DJ Premier before, he joins forces with another American hip-hop star, ATL Jacob, in the dreamy “Luna.” The EP also includes Feid’s global hit “Classy 101” with Puerto Rican star Young Miko.
Back in September, Feid released his sixth album, Mor, No Le Temas a la Oscuridad. Earlier this week, Spotify revealed he was the sixth most-streamed artist globally on the platform this year.
