WATCH: Camilo Will Make His HBO Debut With ‘Camilo: El Primer Tour De Mi Vida’

On Oct. 19, HBO announced Camilo’s HBO debut with his first concert special and documentary Camilo: El Primer Tour De Mi Vida. The intimate concert special and documentary features behind-the-scenes footage of the Colombian singer-songwriter as he takes on his first-ever world tour, recorded between July and Dec. 2021.

Camilo dedicates this special project to his fans, who he calls “La Tribu.” “La Tribu has become a giant family that shares the same mentality: love is our greatest revolution. For six months we toured incredible places that I never imagined I would visit with my music,” Camilo said in a written statement. “We shared the stage with artists who became friends, we met wonderful people from all over the world, and so many incredible things happened that changed our lives forever.”

He continued: “I am happy because those moments were all documented and now, thanks to HBO Max, we can share them with La Tribu, who are the force behind my career.” He also mentions how he’s full of pride being able to relive the tour with his fans.

Besides the tour’s behind-the-scenes and footage of hits like “Tutu,” “Mareado,” and “Por Primera Vez,” the documentary will also feature personal moments with his partner Evaluna Montaner.

The official trailer features clips of him arriving at a venue, taking off his shoes (his signature ritual to perform), and singing his hit “Vida de Rico” in front of a jam-packed singing audience. The documentary follows him as he tours his “Mis Manos” world tour to 48 cities.

Camilo: El Primer Tour De Mi Vida will premiere on Nov. 18 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO Latino and will be available to stream on HBO Max across U.S. and Latin America.

Moreover, Camilo is about to have a big night at the Latin Grammys. He’s up for six Latin Grammys this year, including the categories of Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
