WATCH: Bad Bunny Releases Music Video for ‘NO ME QUIERO CASAR’ Featuring Marcello Hernández
Bad Bunny isn’t done with 2023 quite yet. On Dec. 31, the Puerto Rican icon dropped his latest video for “NO ME QUIERO CASAR,” off his last album nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana.
Directed by longtime collaborator STILLZ, the music video starts with Bad Bunny discussing his year’s accomplishments at a New Year’s Eve party. When asked if a wedding is coming up next year, he says he’s still a baby at age 30. The start of the new visuals shows people asking the same question about marriage – until he gets over the repetitive inquiry and shuts up the next person who asks him about his marital status.
The next scenes show Benito enjoying the NYE party. At the same time, a man (played by Marcello Hernández) asks a woman to be his wife in front of the party’s guests just before the clock strikes midnight. However, the woman says no to the ring. The next clips show Bad Bunny relishing his accomplishments, such as being on the cover of Forbes. We also see him riding a horse, signing autographs, partying at the nightclub, and even being saved by Spider-Man after jumping off a building. Towards the end of the new visuals, he is pillow fighting with models – and at the same time showing off his WWE moves – symbolizing he’s meant for the single life.
Social media users have been speculating about a new music video since Dec. 19. Now, they’re praising the new surprise release. A social media user wrote: “Bad bunny’s new video fixed my day, week and year 🥹.” Another social media user commented: “in life I’m Bad Bunny when my mom asks when I bring a girlfriend home.”
Next up, Bad Bunny will kick off his highly-anticipated trap-only Most Wanted Tour in Salt Lake City, UT, on Feb. 21 and will wrap it up in Miami, FL, on May 26.
